Share The Love

The debut single from Chicago singer/songwriter Lexi Jones.

2019 Death by Lipstick Production /iiiWorlds Entertainment

I wrote this song June of 2018 after having such high expectations for a new relationship and being let down once again. It’s about being disappointed and feeling as though you’ll never find your “true love”. However, “Greetings From The Graveyard” is a happy and fun little tune that I hope will make you smile or at least your toe tap, because even though the lyrics are sad, it’s still hopeful. Sometimes you need some time to cry and write sad songs, but then you pick yourself up and start again. “Greetings From The Graveyard” is simply about the process of life.”

“Greetings From The Graveyard” is available on all music platforms.

Lyrics:

You never called me last night
Like you said you would, like you said you would

I don’t always want to be right
Like I said I would, and I knew I would

And I fall so hard
My limbs are so scarred
I’ll send a postcard
// Greetings from the graveyard //
// Greetings from the graveyard //

(Instrumental)

You said that you’d be different
Like the last one said, that’s what the last one said

Now I’m lying here in my scent
I’m done being bled and left for dead

Cos I fall so hard
My limbs are so scarred

I’ll send a postcard
// Greetings from the graveyard //
// Greetings from the graveyard //

Cos I fall so hard
My legs are so scarred
I’ll send a postcard
// Greetings from the graveyard //
// Greetings from the graveyard //

(Instrumental)

You never called me last night
So I’m staying home
And I’ll die alone
